1. Introduction
Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using this website operated by Find People 4u Ltd (Find People 4u Ltd, otherwise described “We”), Company Registration number 06705937.
Your personal information will not be disclosed to any third party and will only be used by Find People 4u Ltd. We are registered with the Office of Fair Trading and under the Data Protection Act 1998 with the following registration number Z9764360. All debtor tracing is carried out by Mr Ian Hurst licensed debt collector of MI Investigations, office of fair trading licence 593325.
At the point of logging on for the first time you will be asked to read and accept our terms and conditions ( as is the case at the start of any new agreement). The terms and conditions are a legal binding contract between you and Findpeople4u Ltd and we would ask you to take the time to read them carefully. A physical signature is not required unless instructed to do so by a member of Findpeople4u Ltd in accordance with the Electronic Communications Act 200 ( ECA) and the Electronic Signature Reugulations 2002 ( ESR) an Electronic signature will be obtained when you log onto this website.
Personal Information collected during the registration stage is provided on the clear condition that it will be used in people finding databases and may be sold to other companies for use in commercial activity including direct marketing or people finding data bases. The personal information ( Your personal information) for all registrations is provided voluntarily and is fully consented data that you agree can be used in a people finding data base.

Find People4u Ltd have complete discretion to modify or remove any part of this site without warning or liability arising from such action.

2. Copyright
The content of this our website is protected by international copyright laws and other intellectual property rights. The owner of these rights is Find People 4u Ltd. You may not copy, modify, reproduce, upload, transmit, distribute or in any manner, any material or information on or downloaded from our website without our written prior consent.
3. Personal & Commercial User Subscription
3.1 You may access our powerful people search databases and our private investigators and tracing agents for your own personal or business use for 1 month from payment of any search credits until you cancel the tracing account. All payments will be made by your supplied payment details and upon subscription you authorise these payments. All payments will be processed via Find people 4u Ltd. For example if you joined or purchased credits on 03 Jan your tracing account will be live and fully operational until 03 Feb or the next time you purchased search credits when a further 1 month search period would be added to your account. This tracing service is not a MONTHLY CONTRACT it is entirely your decision whether you purchase more search credits.
All tracing accounts will be suspended ( although you will be able to access your account and view search history etc) if a subscription period has elapsed ( 1 month) since last purchase or top up of a subscribers tracing account. If the account is suspended any unused search credits will remain within your account and can be used and become live when you next top up your tracing account with a further payment of search credits . All persons who subscribe to our service will be entered upon our public people finding register, for the avoidance of doubt that includes address and contact information. That registration information is provided voluntary by ALL persons at the point of registering for our service and by accepting our terms and conditions of trade.
Once a tracing account is closed the personal information detailed upon our People finding register remains and is included in our public facing search results. The people finding register is often refered to as "Intellingent tracing register". That is clearly accepted upon accepting our terms and conditions of trade. Removal of consented personal data is permitted subject to a removal fee of £15 to cover admoinistrative charges.
Registration details for all accounts must contain accurate and upto date personal information to conform with data protection act. Any false or misleading data provided by the data subjject ( the client) including telephone contact information provided will be corrected so that it complies with the data protection act and will be regularly reviewed and updated in accordance with our responsibilities to maintain only accurate records.. This is done to ensure personal data is accurate and maintained to the highest standards and kept upto date. Principle 4 of the data protection act 1998. If you do not agree to this position please do not use our people finding service and leave this website without further delay.

3.2 All subscriptions will be reviewed by our credit control and you agree to allow a full credit reference check to be undertaken to confirm identity, that may leave a footprint upon your credit file. Any subscriber who provides false personal details including home address or contact telephone details will have their tracing account suspended until the correct personal information is detailed within a subscribers account. It is also made clear that should the payment details used to purchase search credits not match the subscriber the tracing account will be suspended until such time that Find people4u Ltd are satisfied the subscriber to our tracing service and the payments made to the account are not being used in a fraudulent way. The subscriber agrees to provide all necessary information to satisfy Findpeople4u Ltd that the account is NOT being used in a fraudulent manner and that all payments made by the subscriber in another person’s name are legitimate. All evidence of fraud will be passed to the police without exception. You may periodically be offered discount offers and promotional incentives. Find People4u Ltd reserves the right to terminate these offers at any time without notice.
3.3 We reserve the right to regularly review our access charges and subscription price level and any increase in fees will be displayed on our website or via an e-mail announcement. The free instant search credits applied to each of the pricing structures can be used only for instant UK electoral roll people or address searches only.
3.4 We hold securely all your personal and payment details in accordance with data protection best practice and you authorise that information to be held by Find People 4u Ltd and it is clear that information is held soley at your own risk.
3.5 You may cancel your account at any time (24 Hrs a day) by requesting a cancellation in the “my account” area of the customer login section. It is a very simple process that for security reasons only the subscriber can complete. For security reasons Find people4u Ltd do not have access to the subscribers account password .
4. Personal/commercial User Subscription Cancellation
4.1 You may cancel your account at any time ( 24 Hrs) by requesting a cancellation in the “my account “area of your membership page. All e-mail records held by Find People4u Ltd will be accepted to be the authority in regards to any disputes by both find people4u Ltd and the subscriber. Upon a cancellation instruction both Findpeople4u Ltd and the subscriber will receive an email confirming cancellation. Please retain this cancellation email for confirmation.
4.2 It is clear no subscriber whether commercial or private will have any liabilty to any continous payments unless the subscriber wanted to purchase further search credits .
4.3 We are unable to accept verbal or emailed requests to cancel an account, a quick and easy cancellation process is provided from your subscriptions page. It is your sole responsibility to cancel your membership when it is no longer required.
4.4 Once your account has been officially cancelled, you will no longer be able to utilise any remaining credits in your account and no refund will be made.
4.5 We allow you to access our website on the understanding that information will not be used in a malicious or illegal manner and that you the subscriber indemnify find people 4u Ltd for all costs incurred by find people4u Ltd if you use the tracing account unlawfully.
4.6 We reserve the right to terminate any account holders without issuing a refund who we suspect have provided us with false personal details.
4.7 We reserve the right to terminate any account holder (subscribed member) without issuing a refund who we suspect are utilising the service for any illegal use.
4.8 We reserve the right to terminate any account holders without issuing a refund who we suspect is continuously accessing the service from different browsers and IP addresses or is rude or aggressive to our staff.
4.9 A maximum of 100 results can be provided with each people search request at the cost of 1 credit. A maxim um of 50 results can be provided for all people search requests 1992 – 2010
4.10 If an account is suspended the remaining search credits will become live upon the account being re- activated by the purchase of a new subscription period. If you cancel your subscription, you will no longer be able to utilise any remaining credits in your account and no refund will be made for any remaining search credits.
4.11 We offer a credit top-up option if you need to purchase additional credits during your subscription period , any top up will extend your search period by one month.
4.12 Commercial organisations can request payment of subscriptions and or additional search credits by invoice payable within 7 days.
5. Licensing
No licence of any intellectual property rights is granted to you as a result of your access to this website.
6. Disclaimer
This website is provided by Find People 4u Ltd on an “as is” basis and the site is accessed at your own risk. Find People 4U Ltd make considerable efforts to make search results as accurate as possible. However, we accept no responsibility for the accuracy or entirety of data contained in our databases or information supplied in email reports or by telephone (premium rate tracing 0906 635 6294).
Closure Annual Leave. This website will be unavailable or with a reduced service for anual holiday 13 08 2010 - 24 08 2010 inclusive
7. Refund Policy
7.1 In accordance with the Distance Selling Regulations 2000 the following directive relates to the exception to the right to cancel
7. (2) Unless the parties have agreed otherwise, the consumer will not have the right to cancel the contract by giving notice of cancellation pursuant to regulation 10 in respect of contracts:
(a) For the supply of services if the supplier has complied with regulation 8(3) and performance of the contract has begun with the consumer's agreement before the end of the cancellation period applicable
7.3 Your contract with Find People Ltd is deemed to commence at the point of order, and as such the above regulation applies and we do not offer the right to cancel once the order has been made and therefore NO refunds are given.
7.4 All fraudulent credit /debit card activity will without exception be referred to the Police.
7.5 All commercial subscriptions will be subject to the late payment act 1998 amended 2002 and be subject to debt recovery costs.
8. Changes or Removal
Find People 4u Ltd reserve the right to change any part of this agreement without notice and your use of the Website will be deemed as acceptance of this agreement. We advise users to regularly check the Terms and Conditions of this agreement.
Find People 4u Ltd have total and complete discretion to modify or remove any part of this site without warning or liability arising from such action.
9 Charges
a. Instant people or address search using current year data = 1 search credits * Guaranteed accurate to a current UK address if the person is recorded upon the public edited UK electoral roll or an immediate full refund of the used search credit.
b. People/Address search 1992 – 2010 or current year rolling register = 3 search credits normally sent within 2 Hrs although please allow 24 Hrs. Address search 1992 – 2010 or current year rolling register = 13search credits normally sent within 2 Hrs normal working hours although please allow 24 Hrs. Restricted to 100 profile returns.
c. Neighbour search: Search for occup[ants and contact telephone number of the 5 properties either side of a supplied address : charge 25 search credits
d. Street or Post code search : Search for all persons and telephone number in a complete street or post code LIMITTED TO FIRST 200 RECORDS : charge 25 search credits
e. Telephone & email: Reverse email OR trace consented or ex directory search of a UK telephone number 10 credits per search. REVERSE TELEPHONE TRACING - NO FIND NO FEE - No money will be returned but search credits will be returned to clients trace account within 2 hrs of a negative trace being declared. reverse trace mobile or reverse UK land line numbers = 75 search credits normally completed within 2 Hrs normal of receipt subject to normal working hours although please allow 24 Hrs. We have over 27 million UK land line numbers and over 11 million UK mobile telephone numbers in our data base. We do not claim to hold every email address or UK land line or mobile telephone numbers, not every search/reverse trace of a UK telephone number will be returned positive. That position is clearly understood by the subscriber.
f. Birth, death, marriage 1837 to 2005 4 credits per quarter year searched. It is a condition of service when searching for birth or marriage records that either a mothers maiden name or district must be provided at the time of submission. Normally sent within 2 Hrs normal working hoursalthough please allow 24 Hrs. 2006 to current latest year available (2009) All England & Wales 2006 to current year Birth death or marriage searches will be undertaken in person by an experienced agent at a regional records office within 7 days of receiving an instruction to trace cost 200 search credits The latest complete year currently available are birth marriage death indexes for 2008. The provisional GRO indexes for 2009 are not a full and accurate record because some registries have yet to make a full disclosure of all records . The cost of the research does not include the cost of the actual public record and is payable even if no record is identified. The cost ( charge) is for labour charges and expenses making a personal visit to research the possible GRO index entry. All birth/marriage/death searches undertaken need either a full name ( first name & surname) or surname and district.
g. Birth, death, marriage copy or replacement public Record 160 search credits, supplied by royal mail recorded delivery approximate 8/9 working days, subject to being supplied with no delays by the general records office GRO ( Southport) we cannot be held liable for any delays by either postal strikes or delays by GRO . Order accepted only upon the full GRO index being supplied.
h. Census . Census research cost 15 search credits.
i. Land Registry property copy title deeds = 130 search credits supplied by PDF within 4 Hrs to your supplied email address Monday – Friday within our normal working hours 09:30 Hrs 19:00 Hrs Monday to Friday excepting bank holidays when the UK land registry are unavailable.
j. Business trace: Director, company search, personal insolvency check, all 10 search credits. UK Company reports 50 search credits. Normally sent within 2 Hrs although please allow 24 Hrs. UK DIRECTOR SEARCH WITHOUT SUPPLIED DATE OF BIRTH WILL ONLY RETURN FIRST 25 MATCHING IDENTIFIED DIRECTORS.
k. Vehicle Trace. Cost 500 Search credits, trace charge applies even if you have been supplied with a flase number or the vehicle is using false number plates . Vehicle trace will be carried out by Mr Ian Hurst trace4u. We will only process a vehicle trace once we are confident it is lawful and in accordance with our terms and conditions of trade. We will consider all applications from the general public in great detail. You agree to us seeking information about you via a credit reference agency upon submission, this information is used to confirm both your identity and place of residence and will leave a footprint upon your credit file. This may leave a footprint upon your personal credit file. Our decision to process the trace or not is final and not open to challenge. Solicitors and trade clients can also submit via Fax upon 0161 386 8700. Any application which is not processed because we do not believe it is lawful will have the credits refunded back to their tracing account. Any application that has been submitted that has false details declared upon that submission whether by design or otherwise will be declined and no refund offered. We take great care to authenticate every vehicle trace and the person ( subscriber) who has submitted that trace, if we request any proof of residency or identity and that is refused by the person ( subscriber ) who submits a trace no refund of any credits will be granted. It is accepted by you our client that it is reasonable for this website to request on occasions additional evidence of identity and /or residency from the applicant. It is also clearly understood that if you declare false information to obtain data you will be committing a criminal offence and will be reported to the information commissioner’s office. Traces take 4 working days to be processed and posted to you in a full detailed report and sent by recorded Royal mail post with tracking reference to your declared home address.
l. ( Vehicle Trace) No information will be disclosed to any subscriber if we are not certain and comfortable your supplied home address and personal details are accurate and the data requested is being obtained for a lawful reason. We can further confirm access to this information is only available subject to any of the following conditions or any variation if we believe it is lawful and compliant with UK law and our terms and conditions of trade:
m. Vehicle parked on private property that needs to be removed by the property / land owner.
n. Vehicle subject to repossession in regards to a judgement debt.
o. Vehicle that is subject of hire purchase or other lease or finance agreements.
p. Vehicle subject to legal proceedings in relation to fines or fixed penalty notices.
q. Vehicle subject to claims relating to the insurance of the vehicle
r. Keeper or third party where the subject vehicle was directly involved in an accident.
s. Vehicle that is subject to seizure under a due process of law including Writ of FiFa (Fieri Facias) or Warrant of Distraint or Execution or Liability Order.
Easy Trace: No Find No Fee tracing agent’s Easy Trace missing person trace investigation: Cost 300 search credits. All unsuccessful traces search credits (300) will be refunded directly back to your tracing account within 24 Hrs of a No trace being declared. No money will be refunded under any circumstances.
To use this Easy Trace service the following should be provided to the investigators at the time of submission:
a. Full correct name for person subject to trace action
b. Full DOB for Trace subject
c. Old Address within last 10 Years
d. Make an accurate declaration at the time of the tracing submission in regards to any previous addresses for the person subject to the tracing action.
Easy Trace: A successful trace is described as the procurement of an address which was not previously disclosed at the time of the instruction which the trace subject was resident beyond the last known and supplied address or confirm a current address if the person has not moved from the last known and supplied address. No Find No Fee traces will normally be completed within 24 Hrs although no tracing instruction can be held to a strict timeline. It is important and fully understood that all known information should be disclosed at the time of the trace submission; careful attention should be taken in supplying all known previous addresses. If we supply an address which was previously known and it was not disclosed at the time of the trace no refund of credits will be made upon our tracing fee.
Basic People Search 1992 - 2010 Cost 50 premium credits approx £ 9.99 using 1992 - 2010 UK electoral roll records only and Birth, Marriage, Death records 2004 2005 only to trace an address for the missing person. This trace is not no find no fee, the trace involves substantial time for an experienced private detective to trace and locate the last known address for the missing person using public records only. All information known about the missing person should be declared at the time of the tracing instruction.

No Find No Fee tracing agent’s overseas missing person trace investigation: Cost 2000 search credits. All unsuccessful traces search credits (2000) will be refunded directly back to your tracing account within 24 Hrs of a No trace being declared. No money will be refunded under any circumstances. A successful trace is described as the procurement of an address which was not previously disclosed at the time of the instruction which the trace subject was resident beyond the last known and supplied address or confirm a current address if the person has not moved from the last known and supplied address. It is important and fully understood by the subscriber that all known information should be disclosed at the time of the trace submission; careful attention should be taken in supplying all known previous addresses. If we supply an address which was previously known and it was not disclosed at the time of the trace no refund of credits will be made upon our tracing fee.
a. It is the subscribers clear and understood responsibility of the subscriber to provide all known information regarding the subject of the tracing instruction, whether that is all known addresses ( past & current), marriages ( past & present), partners or children at the point of submission to this tracing service.
Debt Recovery ( non payment subscriptions)
You agree tp pay all bank /card processing fee for any charge back initiated and or refunded.You agree a flat fee for debt recovery of £30 for each and every payment which is subsequently charged back or cancelled ( to write letters informing you the account is in arrears) and we can confirm we will take legal action to recover all unpaid payments due. It is also accepted that we can charge for our time in preparing a small claims action minimum 30 minutes at our commercial hourly rate. You also agree to our costs in attending court to provide evidence to the courts minimum 6 Hrs at our commercial hourly rate.
Our Hourly rate is £ 60 per hour.
You agree without any reservation to all charges detailed above within debt recovery.
FREE SEARCHES
We offer from time to time a free search these searches are limitted to 5 Free searches per day per registered user. If supplied details cannot be verified by using ER records and no landline number is provided Free searches will not be processed.
This people search tool is free in return for your personal HOME address ( not business_ and contact information including email, telephone and current address. If this information is correct we will grant free search (es) of our services. It is agreed that this information when collected will be used for specifically people finding in the UK and can be sold through our people finding service to any person or company. This is clearly accepted at the point you accept our terms and conditions of trade upon signing upto our service. If you subsequently apply to have these details removed ( using data protection laws) from our register after you have used our people finding service for FREE you will be required to pay a charge of £ 5 per person for the used search credits and administrative charge £ 10 in relation to removing this consented personal data Total charge £ 15. It is also a clear condition of any Free searches that you should not request a search of yourself either using consented or Electoral roll data, if you want information upon your own electoral roll records you should seek a subject access request via our privacy policy. Once you have completed your searches, you can close your account although the personal information detailed upon our people finding register is retained and used on our public facing register. This public facing register is described upon our people search services has our "Intelligent tracing register". If you do not accept this position please do not use our service and leave this web site immediately. Thank you
Opening Hours
Normal office opening hours are 7 days 09:30 Hrs – 19:30 Hrs Monday – Friday and 11 am - 1700 Hrs Weekends AND Bank holidays although these times can for operational reasons be flexible. We close ( instant search still possible) for two weeks summer holidays every year: Aug 01 - Aug 14 inclusive.
Data Protection
You have the right to access the information that this website holds about you. In order to do this please make a written application to Data Protection Officer, Find People 4u Ltd , Suite 113, 111 Piccadilly Manchester MI12HX . Find People 4u Ltd may require you to provide verification of your identity and to pay an administrative fee (which is currently £10) to provide a copy of the information that it holds. Please note that in certain circumstances Find People 4u Ltd may withhold access to your information where it has the right to do so under current data protection legislation. IMPORTANT
The data protection act 1998 regulates the use of of personal which is inherent in the use of our tracing tools. The provisions of the act can be summarised as " Fair obtaining" and " Fair processing".
Clients both private and commercial will by accessing our tracing tools and by agreeing to our terms and conditions of trade confirm to Find people4u Ltd that they comply with all aspects of the data protection act and in particular schedule 2 of the data protection act and that the information being obtained is in order to provide the data subject with information, benefits, assets or monies due. Or hold some other communication which is deemed to be beneficial and non-prejudicial to the data subject i.e. the person you ( client) are seeking to trace ( data subject)
Information that is required pursuant to legal proceedings is exempt from non disclosure provisions of the data protection act 1988. Section 35(2) of that Act." refers.
SUSPENSION OF SERVICE
Find People 4u Ltd may suspend the Service at any time without notice to the Customer: (a) for maintenance or other operational reasons; (b) in the case of an emergency, or (c) as a result of a force majeure.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Find People 4u Ltd will under no circumstance be liable for indirect, special, or consequential damages including any loss of business, revenue, profits, or personal data in relation to your use of the Website. It is clear and understood condition that your use of this web site is at your own risk.
Nothing within this Agreement will operate to exclude any liability for death or personal injury arising as result of the negligence of Find People 4u Ltd, its employees or agents.
